Is your child or youth struggling with mental health or substance use? As a parent, are you feeling alone, confused and not sure where to turn?

Here are a few programs you should know about:

FamilySmart™ Parents In Residence

This program provides peer support, mentoring, system navigation and access to information, resources, networks and education.  Parents in Residence have their own lived experience of parenting a child, youth or young adult with mental health and/or substance use challenges. As families, they’ve been there and they are available to support you. More information at:

‘In the Know’ education & networking sessions

A monthly webinar that explores topics, related to child and youth mental health and substance use challenges, that matter to families and those working with young people and families. Participate in person at a community site near you or view a webinar from our library online anytime. In person In the Know community events run Sept-June.

Community viewing sites are offered in many communities. To learn more about what is happening in your community this month, look at our events or contact your Parent in Residence.
